It was the belief of the publishers that in order to be truly competitive and FREE in the publishing business you must own your presses which is the foundation of THE STAR’s success!
The Star was founded initially to publish solely its own publications but quickly grew into one of the largest and most modern automated printeries in the Caribbean with clients throughout the region. Our success has been attributable to the combination of understanding publishing and its effectiveness when deadlines are met especially news stand dates! In over 20 years of operation we have NEVER missed a deadline and get all publications to customers ON TIME! Our customers are able to attest to this.

Headed by Managing Director Mae Wayne (BA-University of San Diego) who is backed by 30 years of printing and publishing experience in the USA and Caribbean alike. The Star Publishing Company employs a total of 53 trained and grossly experienced professionals all combining innovation, ingenuity, competence and dependability, technical know how and sheer good taste in the production and publication of all our projects.

Vanessa Henry, head of advertising leads a dynamic team of five (5) who all boast intimate, yet broad knowledge of each Caribbean Island frequently travelling to meet with clients and explore potential business avenues ensuring that The Star Publishing Company is truly a leader and is able to meet our valued clients’ needs.
Editorial Team
A former Editor in Chief of the Weider Publication (Los Angeles, CA) for 30 years, Editorial Director and Publisher, Rick Wayne is backed by over 50 years of journalism in both the USA & Caribbean and has written 10 books on the Caribbean and his beloved Sport, Body Building. Our team of 8 full time writers is made up of 4 editors from the USA, UK and the Caribbean, each with over 10 years experience. Our editors and writers are efficient, organized and deadline driven. We are also networked with many freelance writers throughout the region.

With one of the largest photography archives in the Caribbean with a network of photographers spreading the length and breadth of the region we’re able to always find that perfect image to complete the job.
Graphics, Design & Web Development

Boasting a world class printing press and printing equipment, our operations & production team headed by Deon Guerra is usually where it all happens, all the pre-production processes all lead to final production. Our team is highly experienced and pay attention to detail ensuring the final product is superior and up to Star quality standards.
