Epaper Samayik Prasanga

The Daily Samayik Prasanga is a Bengali daily newspaper published from Silchar, Assam, India. The editor of the newspaper is Mr. Taimur Raja Chowdhury, Managing Director Ms. Jyotsna Hussain Choudhury and Publisher Mr. Ripon Nath.
Eminent journalist-personality of Barak Valley Taimur Raja Choudhury is the founder of this new-generation newspaper in Assam. In the early 70's he started journalism in Assam. He was writing for various newspaper at that period, But he felt to publish a newspaper for free-hand writings for pro-people ideas & views. As he thought, he founded Samayik Prasanga as fortnightly on 1979 among his fellows & friends. When Samayik Prasanga first published, it drew attention from the mass-people of Barak Valley and welcomed by civic society. By the time being, on 1981 it became Weekly. Later on 1991 the newspaper published by bi-weekly.
